If you have a child, are related to or work on behalf of a child receiving special education in Southern Oregon, you will not want to miss this free opportunity to learn about the state and federal rights that apply and get your questions answered by one of the only special education advocates working in our area.
What you do not know about special education law can really make a difference in the services your child with a disability receives from our public and private schools. This 2 hour seminar titled "Basic Rights" will provide you with an overview and explanation about 12 of the most common rights children in special education have that are often denied or not fully explained to parents. There is also a group question and answer period where you can ask a question directly related to your situation.
